# Faint Landscape Layer Behind Dashboard Panels

Following the owner’s approval of the visual direction, the dashboard now carries the bundled landscape as a stationary background behind its active panels at 18 percent opacity. The existing day/night asset selection follows the current phase. Panel surfaces remain opaque for clinical text readability. The layer is decorative, hidden from accessibility and does not intercept pointer input. This is a targeted visual change; vault persistence, assessment behavior and the clinical beta release gates are unchanged.

The native app build and ad hoc bundle verification passed, and the midday dashboard was rendered with the isolated synthetic vault to inspect the new layer and foreground readability. This does not establish night-mode visual acceptance or full accessibility acceptance. No clinical data was used, and the full XCTest suite was not rerun for this background-only change.

The source is preserved in the private repository on beta/clinical-preview-2026-10-28 at commit 06e19eb3830c879fa49fa17abf1c6d87deede2f8. This supersedes the source pointer in the preceding visual milestone; its beta limitations and open security/recovery gates still apply. The current app remains a synthetic-data development preview before real-record clinical use.
