# Private Clinical Beta Target and First Visual Implementation

The first beta is intended for the project owner using real clinical records. That target raises the release standard: the present app remains a synthetic-data development preview until the documented clinical beta gates pass. No real clinical vault was opened, migrated or used for these checks.

The native vault entrance now has an observatory landscape, restrained gold orbital detail, serif identity and an ivory unlock panel with a high-contrast action. The dashboard uses new day/night landscape resources, a slimmer indigo sidebar, warmer readable panels and adaptive continuity/document columns. The design follows the early reference mockups. Artwork is newly generated and bundled locally; it is not clinical content. Window sizing now has an explicit default and minimum-resize policy. The rendering was checked on the built-in display and a portrait external display. Synthetic vault unlock succeeded. Dashboard text wrapping and Focus-card crowding found during the first rendering were corrected. The first pass does not establish full visual acceptance of client details, note editing, recovery, night-mode workflows or accessibility.

Source is preserved in the private repository on branch beta/clinical-preview-2026-10-28, commit d1cae768c3c4f2a46fd22f36e85af737fa9aebf8. The packaged development app is alpha 0.1.1 build 20261028173535 and identifies revision d1cae76. The native build and ad hoc signature verification passed. The prior 136-test full suite and later 16-test focused suite belong to the reconstructed source milestone; they were not rerun after these visual changes. Earlier recovery branches and original SSD artifacts remain preserved.

A completed static security review of the preceding f9707fb source baseline recorded two medium-severity findings. Both remain open. Detailed findings are retained privately. This review is code evidence, not an independent clinical deployment certification, runtime penetration test or validation of the later visual patch. The beta readiness document also keeps reviewed key derivation and versioned recovery, restore/failure exercises, actual sleep protection, migration, clinical workflow and trusted distribution as open release gates. No valid distribution signing identity is available on this Mac; this bundle is ad hoc signed.

The next development priorities are correcting and verifying the two security findings, completing the key/recovery design and failure-path checks, finishing the note-template/finalization/long-note native checks, then extending the visual standard across the remaining clinical screens. This entry supersedes any implication that a successful reconstruction or a visual preview alone makes the app ready for real clinical records.
